2-Hour Fire Rated Enclosure Nora Lighting's new specification-grade, fire-rated, new construction recessed downlight was designed to meet strict fire safety codes in commercial, multi-family and residential applications. The cULus listed double wall fixture incorporates a non-combustible fiber insulation to prevent the passage of flames, toxic gases, and ignitable gasses into ceiling plenums and is rated for a minimum of 2 hours protection. In addition, the non-combustible fiber fill acts as sound-deadening material, eliminating the transfer of sound between floors, excellent for use in home theaters.
