Description: 4� Shallow Low Voltage small aperture IC Airtight New Construction Housing. Double wall housing, can be in direct contact with insulation. The Airtight feature prevents airflow, reducing heating and cooling cost. Designed for accent and task lighting.
Barhangers: The housing is equipped with pre-installed adjustable barhanger to locate the hosing between joists with 16� to 24� space. This special design allows easy ceiling installation of the housing.
Junction Box: Pre-wired junction box provided with (7) �� and (4) romex knockouts with built-in strain relief to hold wire in place without any additional connectors. Junction box is equipped with grounding wire. Listed for through branch circuit.
Mounting Frame: 22 gauge die-formed galvanized steel mounting frame. Rough-in section (junction box, mounting frame, housing and barhangers) fully assembled for ease of installation.
Transformer: UL and cUL recognized 120V 60Hz American brand electronic transformer with Short Circuit and Thermal Protection. Thermal auto-reset 125C switch. Transfomer can be dimmed using electronic low voltage dimmer. Please consult transfomer manufacturer for compatible dimmer.
Socket: Ceramic bi-pin GU5.3 base with aluminum heat shield.
Lamp: One 50W 12V MR16.
Labels: ETL listed for feed through and damp location. Meets State of Washigton Registered Air Flow requirements.
