What are GFCIs?
GFCI stands for Ground-fault Circuit Interrupters. An electrical wiring device that protects from shocks and electrocution that could result from ground-faults.

What it does:
Detects potentially hazardous ground-faults and quickly cuts off power.  

Where to use:
Required by the NEC in wet or damp locations such as bathrooms and kitchens in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
