6" IC Airtight 13W Electronic Fluorescent Remodel Housing
DESCRIPTION
The H270RICAT, H271RICAT and H272RICAT housings are designed for remodel applications in insulated ceilings and can be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The electronic compact fluorescent ballast meets stringent Energy Star requirements including FCC Title 47 CFR part 18 for Consumer equipment. Energy Star qualified products carry a two year limited warranty.
Housing
Single wall aluminum housing. Sealed for AIRTITE installation. Housing height allows use in 2�x 8� joist construction. Housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1 3/8� thick. AIR-TITE ceiling-to-housing installation gasket included. Air-tite self adhesive gasket supplied with housing to complete ASTM-E283 installation
Slide-N-Side� Junction Box
� ULU Listed for through branch circuit wiring (maximum 8 No.12 ga., 90�C conductors). � Seven 1/2" trade size conduit knockouts . � Slide-N-Side� wire traps allow non-metallic sheathed cable to be installed without tools and without removing knockouts. � Allows wiring connections to be made outside the junction box � Simply insert the cable directly into the trap after connections are made. � Accommodates the following standard non-metallic sheathed cable sizes: (US) #14/2, #14/3, #12/2, #12/3 (Canada) #14/2, #14/3, #12/2

Four remodel clips secure housing and accommodate 1/2� and 5/8� ceiling material.
