The Universal 5-in-1 Learning Remote controls your A/V Devices & X10 System in a convenient and uncluttered design.
Like most standard universal remotes, the 5-in-1 RF/IR Learning Remote conveniently allows you to control numerous audio/video components with a single unit, without having multiple controls cluttering your living room but with the added feature of its X10 "Super Key," which lets you control your lights and appliances without having to be in the same room with them. This special home control feature works in conjunction with a wireless transceiver (sold separately) to communicate RF commands and control your X10 modules.
With your new X10 5-in-1 Learning Remote, the possibilities are endless:
IR technology controls your TV, tuner, DVD player, cd player, and cassette deck all with one remote
X10 RF technology that lets you switch and dim lighting in your home theater and control appliances anywhere in your home (X10 modules are required but sold separately)
The learning function ensures that the remote will work with any audio/video product, no matter how obscure.
You can also set the remote to send IR X10 commands if you have an Infrared X10 Command Console (sold separately) set up.
It even allows operation of IR controlled air conditioning and drapery controls
